Global Strays, along with president and co-founder Elizabeth Shafiroff, held its third annual benefit, Redefining Animal Welfare, at NAIA Hamptons in Southampton on Thursday, September 2. Held outdoors, the event honored those fighting for global animal welfare and Global Strays’ programs for pets, strays, and working horses in underserved communities.

Guests enjoyed complimentary cocktails while mingling by the pool and lounge with many global animal lovers and environmentally conscious advocates. Global Strays showcased the work they have done over the last year, highlighting educational workshops, spay/neuter programs, and working horse clinics in Nicaragua, as well as their shelter program in Colombia.
