Guild Hall in East Hampton presents In-Process: J. Bouey Dance Projects – The Living Ancestors on Saturday, October 24, at 7 PM.
Bessie Award-winning choreographer, dancer, and educator J. Bouey offers an in-process look at “The Living Ancestors,” a multimedia disco-funk space opera that blends dance, music, text, and live projection. Through performance excerpts and conversation, audiences are invited into the creative process as Bouey and collaborators develop this new work.
The event offers the opportunity to see the work before its premiere at the 2027 Under the Radar Festival in New York City.
