Guests celebrated local history, culture, and summer at the annual Halsey House Gala on Saturday, July 6, to benefit the Southampton History Museum. This year’s guest of honor was Chuck Scarborough, who is marking a milestone of 50 years at WNBC.
The evening was held on the grounds of Halsey House, one of the oldest dwellings in New York State. Guests danced under the stars to live music and enjoyed a selection of hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a raw bar stocked with local oysters.
A silent auction featured various unique items, including one-of-a-kind works of art and a tour of NBC Studios with Chuck Scarborough.
The gala co-chairs were Jean Shafiroff and Doug Halsey, and the committee included Alexandra Halsey-Storch and Nancy Kane.
