The Hampton Ballet Theatre School presents its Spring 2026 ballet, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “Sleeping Beauty.”
The ballet is choreographed by HBTS director Sara Jo Strickland and features beautiful costumes designed by Yuka Silvera and Kate McManus, and lighting by Sebastian Paczynski. The roles of Aurora will be danced by Major Bovio and Lauren Rosario, partnered by guest artist James Stevko, who will dance the role of Prince Désiré. The role of The Lilac Fairy will be danced by Leila Genender and Jade Mancilla, and Twyla Tracy and Olivia Quinn will be dancing the role of The Bluebird. Guest artist Nick Peregrino will be dancing “Puss and Boots” partnered with Violet McManus and Catherine Porter, and Isla Moskowitz and Freida Winter will be dancing “Little Red Riding Hood.” Lila D’Angelo and Summer Lillie will dance as Cinderella and Prince Charming. The evil Carabosse is played by Ayla Gaites and Leila Genender. All HBTS female dancers are Pro Student Level 9, the most advanced level at Hampton Ballet Theatre School.
HBTS will premiere the timeless tale on Friday, April 24, at 7 PM, Saturday, April 25, at 1 PM and 7 PM, and Sunday, April 26, at 2 PM at Guild Hall’s Hilarie and Mitchell Morgan Theater in East Hampton.
