Of the five recently announced Oscar nominees for Best Documentary Feature, “The Mole Agent,” directed by Maite Alberdi — a film about an 83-year old man hired to become a resident “mole” inside a Chilean nursing home — was picked to be shown in the Hamptons Doc Fest last December.
“Hamptons Doc Fest warmly congratulates the five Oscar nominees for Best Documentary. You’ve enriched our lives!” said Hamptons Doc Fest founder and executive director Jacqui Lofaro.
“And if you haven’t seen these compelling documentaries yet, we encourage you to catch up on them before the winner is announced at the Oscars broadcast on April 25.”
You can now go to Hamptons Doc Fest website at www.hamptonsdocfest.com to learn how to screen each of the films on various platforms. Films also include “Collective,” directed by Alexander Nanau, “Crip Camp,” directed by James Lebrecht and Nicole Newnham, “My Octopus Teacher,” directed by Pippa Ehrlich and James Reed, and “Time,” directed by Garrett Bradley.
