Arcoiris Sandoval - piano, Mimi Jones - bass, Kenneth Salters drums, Lucas Pino - soprano saxophone.

Arcoiris Sandoval is a jazz pianist and composer residing in New York City, originally from Tucson, Arizona. She leads her own trio and quintet project called Sonic Asylum and is the Co-Director of The D.O.M.E. Experience multimedia orchestra along with bassist Mimi Jones. D.O.M.E. aims to raise environmental and social awareness through orchestra, choreography and cinematography. She also tours with acclaimed vocalist Allan Harris and occasionally performs with the Mingus Big Band.

Sandoval released her debut Sonic Asylum Trio album in 2018 entitled “First Voyage” featuring Marty Kenney on bass and Duck Creek Alum Allan Mednard on drums which won a Global Music Award.

As always, concert audience members are encouraged to bring a beach chair, and a picnic and enjoy the evening (or afternoon)! All events are free, but space and parking are limited, so please arrive early, and be considerate of our neighbors. Concerts are weather dependent and some programs may require a reservation.

The Arts Center at Duck Creek is a New York State-recognized 501(c)(3) entity, located at
Historic Duck Creek Farm in East Hampton, NY. Since 2018, we have been dedicated to the stewardship of this land as a place to inspire our community with free creative programming that supports artists, celebrates diversity, and honors the East End’s cultural legacy. Our operations are sustained solely through grant allocations and generous donations from the community. Our programming is always free & open to all.

Ty Wenzel

Ty Wenzel, a recent breast cancer survivor, started her career as a fashion coordinator for Bloomingdale’s followed by fashion editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine. She was also a writer for countless publications, including having published a memoir (St. Martin's Press) and written features for The New York Times. She is an award-winning writer and designer who covers lifestyle, real estate, architecture and interiors for James Lane Post. She previously worked as a writer and marketing director for The Independent. She has won multiple PCLI and NYPA awards for journalism, social media and design, including best website design and best magazine for James Lane Post, which she co-founded in 2020. Wenzel is also a co-founder of the meditation app for kids, DreamyKid, and the Hamptons social media agency, TWM Hamptons Social Media.
