The program will transport you with a selection of holiday songs that highlight the cultural richness of different countries, moving beyond the familiar to explore some truly unique musical gems. The concert’s global selections include songs like “He Xin Nian” (China’s New Year’s song), “Räven Raskar Över Isen” (from Sweden), “Talj, Talj” (from Lebanon), and “Ner Li” (from Israel). The performance will also feature classic and traditional pieces, such as the renowned Austrian carol “Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht” (Silent Night), along with other timeless classics. Additionally, you will discover music tied to unique winter celebrations, including a piece for Japan’s winter solstice, “Toji.”
