Child of the late saxophone legend, Pharoah Sanders, multi-instrumentalist, producer & artist Tomoki Sanders will bring a mix of vapor wave, fusion, jazz, & hip hop, combined with elements of digitally produced music. Tomoki (they/them) started playing drums and percussions at the age of 4, They graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2018, having studied performance and music production with world-renowned musicians, such as Ralph Peterson Jr., Billy Kilson, Neal Smith, Tia Fuller, George Garzone, Frank Tiberi, Jackie Beard, Divo Govoni, Shannon LeClaire, Dave Santoro, Ed Tomassi, Jim Odgren and more

Sanders was born in New York City, and continues to live and perform there alongside such as Pharoah Sanders, Kassa Overall, Ravi Coltrane, Maurice “Mobetta” Brown, Nikara Warren, Tatsuya Nakamura, Taylor McFerrin, Mark de Clive-Lowe , Raymond Mcmorrin, Tatsuya Nakamura and many many more.

As always, concert audience members are encouraged to bring a beach chair and a picnic blanket and enjoy the evening (or afternoon)! All events are free, but space and parking are limited, so please arrive early, and be considerate of our neighbors. Concerts are weather dependent and some programs may require a reservation.

The Arts Center at Duck Creek is a New York State-recognized 501(c)(3) entity, located at
Historic Duck Creek Farm in East Hampton, NY. Since 2018, we have been dedicated to the stewardship of this land as a place to inspire our community with free creative programming that supports artists, celebrates diversity, and honors the East End’s cultural legacy. Our operations are sustained solely through grant allocations and generous donations from the community. Our programming is always free & open to all.

Ty Wenzel

Ty Wenzel, a recent breast cancer survivor, started her career as a fashion coordinator for Bloomingdale’s followed by fashion editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine. She was also a writer for countless publications, including having published a memoir (St. Martin's Press) and written features for The New York Times. She is an award-winning writer and designer who covers lifestyle, real estate, architecture and interiors for James Lane Post. She previously worked as a writer and marketing director for The Independent. She has won multiple PCLI and NYPA awards for journalism, social media and design, including best website design and best magazine for James Lane Post, which she co-founded in 2020. Wenzel is also a co-founder of the meditation app for kids, DreamyKid, and the Hamptons social media agency, TWM Hamptons Social Media.
