Inlet Seafood Restaurant Reopens

“Respect the Ocean. Harvest the Bounty. Feed the People.” That’s the motto at Inlet Seafood Restaurant in Montauk, which has recently opened its doors for its 17th season. The grand reopening showcases a carefully curated cocktail menu, newly designed sushi bar, and overall refresh to the space.

Master Sushi Chef Jun Lin and Executive Chef Lawrence Wallace remain at the helm, where they’ve been creating dishes for over a decade.

Amanda Jones, of one of the six fishing families that own Inlet, was appointed Director of Operations of the entire property in September. Jones promoted Linda Wiegardt, a Montauk native and senior member of the Inlet staff, to general manager of the restaurant in late fall.

The four have worked together over the winter to update the restaurant, while staying true to their fisherman roots. The restaurant will continuing to serve patrons with local, sustainable fish that they catch themselves year round.

“On behalf of our families, we’d like to thank the locals and tourists alike, for their continued support. It takes a village — and we happen to have one of the best!” said Jones.

The restaurant will be open Friday to Monday for lunch and dinner until May when they move to seven days a week.
