Joy Behar, Mercedes Ruehl & Angela LaGreca Return To Southampton Inn For Creative Salon

The second of the Southampton Inn’s Winter Salon Series will take place on Saturday, March 23, featuring award-winning comedian, playwright, and co-host of “The View” Joy Behar, Academy Award-winning actor Mercedes Ruehl, Emmy award-winning producer, writer, and comedian Angela LaGreca, and musical director Lenny Babbish, along with other surprise guest performers. Doors open at 3 PM, with the performance starting at 4:30 PM sharp. Tickets are $20 and must be purchased in advance by emailing events@southamptoninn.com or calling 631-283-6500.

A cash bar will be available, and local village restaurants Le Charlot and Main Prospect are offering Southampton Inn attendees and guests special post-show prix fixe menus with complimentary desserts and wine. All guests must do is mention the Southampton Inn when making a reservation.

The salon features works in progress, including comedy, monologues, stories, and music.

At the first sold-out Salon in February, Broadway and television star Tovah Feldshuh joined Ruehl and Behar to perform divorce monologues written by Behar. The monologues, crafted by Behar and based on interviews she conducted with women about their lives leading up to divorce, were hilarious and moving.

New York Times best-selling author Steven Gaines told entertaining stories about the Hamptons, and musical director Lenny Babbish shared his story about working with Leonard Bernstein and a laugh-out-loud parody he wrote about aging called “(Not) A Lot of Livin’ To Do.” LaGreca, the host, opened the show with standup and then weaved a dramatic and hilarious tale about the role of music and the “Ave Maria” in her life.
