“What I’m trying to do here is inspire people to live their best lives, enjoy life, and do more of the things they love,” said Nancy Remkus, ordained interfaith minister and current pastor of the Old Whalers’ Church in Sag Harbor on Friday, May 5, at 6 PM.
The Church in Sag Harbor presents a celebration of community and inspiration as the Knowledge Friday series continues. Remkus, a former teacher, a member of the Sag Harbor community, and singer-songwriter, will speak about her work and the inspiration she draws from the seaside town.
Remkus served Sag Harbor for thirty years as an elementary school teacher and infused her love of music and the arts into the creation of the “Morning Program.” She is also a former trustee of the Sag Harbor Historical Society.
Tickets are $10 or free for members.
