Macrae Skye Opens First Brick & Mortar Location

Children’s sustainable and circular clothing line Macrae Skye opened the doors to its first brick and mortar location in Amagansett on Thursday, May 26.

The beachy boutique, located at 136 Main Street in Amagansett, is designed by founder and designer Kim Slicklein. Macrae Skye’s new store will open its doors featuring the adventure-ready spring 2022 line. The exciting new space stays true to the brand’s ethos of ethical fashion and sustainability, allowing the colorful, inspiring, and timeless clothing to take center stage in the boutique.

The spring 2022 collection, from Global to Local, features new expressive prints — created by illustrator Emily Taylor, in collaboration with Kim Slicklein — with a story and significance behind each one. The prints are grounded with the Macrae Skye Global Stamp print, an ensemble of custom made stamps representing each of the countries that Kim and her family have lived in: the Netherlands, England, Scotland, the United States, and South Africa. There are also the hand drawn illustrations paying homage to the Hamptons, featuring designs of iconic Hamptons locations, including Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Montauk, Napeague, and the birthplace of the brand, Amagansett.
