Autostrada Catering and Retail is a new purveyor of catering and culinary experiences in the Hamptons, from the team behind Highway Restaurant & Bar in East Hampton and Main Street Tavern in Amagansett.
Autostrada will bring catering and event experiences to gatherings across the Hamptons. Autostrada’s retail footprint, to be located at 84 Wainscott NW Road, with outdoor dining and grab-and-go goods, will roll out this fall.
Harnessing a successful track record with world-class restaurants, including Eleven Madison Park, Shuko, and Pasquale Jones, the team aims to bring quality catering to intimate dinner parties and weddings. Autostrada’s culinary program will be helmed by Chef Anand “Arnie” Sastry, whose Michelin-awarded background informs all culinary programming.
Autostrada menus offer catering options for 5 to 200+ guests and include items from a mobile wood-fired oven in addition to private chef experiences. Guests will enjoy delicious Neapolitan-style pizzas. Signature dishes include the Crispy Roman Style Square Pizza, the “Aragosta” Pizza with spicy lobster and San Marzano tomato, and the “Vongole” Pizza with littleneck clams, garlic, parsley, and lemon.
In addition to craft, wood-fired pizzas, Autostrada’s catering menus, and packages span Mediterranean and Italian-inspired dishes and include gourmet canapes, salads, entrees, and desserts. Plates are served family-style, including Whole Roasted Branzino, Bone-In Dry Aged Ribeye with ember roasted onions and Tuscan olive oil, Sicilian Cauliflower with capers, olive oil, and parsley, Rucola Salad with shaved fennel, red onion and Valencia orange and Prosciutto and Melon. Guests will find these familiar dishes, enhanced with well-married flavors, refreshed and redesigned by our acclaimed chefs.
Autostrada’s Retail outpost in Wainscott takes over the space which formerly housed BreadZilla. While Autostrada will have a new mix of signature grab-and-go items, the team plans to bring back some of BreadZilla’s signature items. The team aims to honor BreadZilla’s legacy in the return of “fan-favorite dishes and a community-driven atmosphere.”
