Distinctive fashion voices bring resort glamour, cultural storytelling, couture craftsmanship, and contemporary style to Southampton
Hamptons Fashion Week® returns to Southampton on August 22 with a designer lineup that reflects the increasingly expansive language of modern fashion.
The 2026 presentations will unite internationally recognized names with independent luxury labels and emerging talent. From artisanal resort wear and culturally informed couture to sculptural eveningwear and effortless New York sophistication, each designer brings a distinctive point of view to the runway.
Together, the designers represent fashion’s ability to cross borders, connect generations, preserve heritage, and inspire new possibilities.

Sunskaara
Sunskaara brings a globally minded approach to the Hamptons Fashion Week® runway. The brand’s presentation will speak to the modern consumer who views fashion as part of a broader lifestyle — one informed by travel, individuality, craftsmanship, and personal expression.
Founded by visionary designer Garima Malhotra, Sunskaara is a celebration of timeless elegance, conscious craftsmanship, and global design. Drawing inspiration from rich cultural traditions while embracing contemporary sophistication, Garima has created a brand that empowers women through beautifully crafted collections that seamlessly blend luxury, comfort, and versatility. Her commitment to ethical fashion, artisanal techniques, and thoughtful design has positioned Sunskaara as an emerging international lifestyle brand, offering refined ready-to-wear, resort, holiday, and gifting collections that resonate with today’s discerning consumer.
Its presence will complement the relaxed elegance of the Hamptons, where clothing moves effortlessly between daytime experiences, seaside gatherings, intimate cocktails, luxury yacht outings, and sophisticated summer evenings.
Sunskaara’s participation will also extend beyond the runway through opportunities for guests to discover the brand, engage with its story, and experience its creative identity within the luxury marketplace. As part of Hamptons Fashion Week®, guests will have the opportunity to meet the designer, explore the latest collections, and experience firsthand the artistry, heritage, and global vision that define the Sunskaara brand.

Maki Palmata
Maki Palmata brings a compelling combination of sustainable luxury, ancestral craftsmanship, and modern resort style to Hamptons Fashion Week®.
Founded in 2021 by Glenda Betancourt and Tamara Rogouski, the Miami-based brand creates distinctive hats, apparel, handbags, and accessories for the modern woman. Its signature pieces are designed in Miami and ethically handwoven in Ecuador by master artisans using premium materials and traditional techniques.
At the heart of Maki Palmata is a commitment to honoring Ecuadorian artistry and preserving the cultural legacy of handmade craftsmanship. The brand’s luxury hats are created from toquilla straw, a natural fiber valued for its beauty, flexibility, and connection to generations of Ecuadorian artisans.
The name itself expresses the brand’s mission. “Maki” means “hand” in Quichua, recognizing the artists whose skill and dedication bring every piece to life. “Palmata” refers to the natural Carludovica palmata plant from which toquilla straw is produced, reinforcing the company’s respect for nature and responsible design.
Each piece reflects the time, patience, and human touch required to create an authentic handcrafted object. The result is a collection that feels both timeless and contemporary — rooted in tradition but designed for today’s international woman.
Maki Palmata’s hats and accessories are a natural fit for the Hamptons lifestyle. Wide brims, sculptural shapes, intricate woven details, and versatile neutral tones bring elegance and personality to everything from beachside afternoons to garden parties and evening cocktails.
Its Hamptons Fashion Week® presentation will demonstrate how accessories can become the defining element of an entire look. More than a finishing touch, each Maki Palmata creation carries a story of artistry, heritage, sustainability, and meaningful luxury.

Fausto Altamirano
Fausto Altamirano is the designer and creative mind behind BACCIO COUTURE. Passionate about textile innovation, Altamirano has redefined lace, transforming it from a classic art form into a modern, bold expression of fashion.
At the age of 17, Fausto Altamirano emigrated to the United States, where he began showcasing his early work as a visual artist in small galleries in Miami Beach. His artistic curiosity and passion for design soon led him to collaborate with Harley-Davidson, creating custom designs for motorcycles and helmets.
Fausto Altamirano is the creative force behind Baccio Couture, a luxury fashion house based in Miami recognized for its handcrafted garments and distinctive artistic vision. Founded in 2002, the brand reflects Fausto’s dedication to craftsmanship, elegance, and artistic expression through fashion.
With roots connected to Italian heritage and a passion for couture techniques, his work blends refined design with meticulous attention to detail. Each garment begins as a concept developed by Fausto himself and is brought to life through a careful creative process inside the atelier.
From selecting fabrics to refining silhouettes, every piece is approached as a unique creation rather than a mass-produced design.
Baccio Couture designs are known for their handcrafted techniques, including hand-painted textiles, intricate detailing, and the use of luxury materials such as Swarovski crystals.
These elements, combined with Fausto’s artistic approach to fashion, transform each garment into a piece that celebrates individuality and elegance.
From evening gowns and couture dresses to swimwear and special occasion designs, every creation reflects the brand’s commitment to quality, artistry, and timeless style.
For Fausto Altamirano, fashion is not simply about clothing — it is about creating pieces that embody confidence, beauty, and the art of craftsmanship.

Cesar Galindo
Celebrity designer Cesar Galindo returns to Hamptons Fashion Week® with more than 35 years of experience spanning fashion, costume, styling, and creative direction.
A first-generation Mexican American designer, Galindo learned to sew from his mother before beginning his professional journey in Texas. His career eventually took him to New York and around the world, where he became known for his command of color, fabric, draping, and the female form.
Galindo’s work has been worn by prominent entertainers and cultural figures, including Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Courteney Cox, and Missy Elliott. His experience also includes work with internationally recognized fashion houses and celebrity-led brands.
Yet his designs remain deeply personal. Vibrant color, fluid construction, sensual movement, and Latin-influenced energy continue to distinguish his work.
As a former Hamptons Fashion Week® Fashion Icon Award recipient, Galindo returns not only as a featured designer but also as an important member of the event’s creative legacy.
One Runway, Many Stories
The strength of the Hamptons Fashion Week® 2026 lineup lies in its range. These designers do not share a single aesthetic — and that is precisely the point.
Each collection reflects a different relationship with fashion. For some, it is a vehicle for cultural preservation. For others, it is an expression of destination living, femininity, glamour, craftsmanship, or creative experimentation.
By bringing these voices together, Executive Producer Dee Rivera and DCG Media Group are creating more than a sequence of runway shows. They are building an international fashion conversation in the heart of Southampton.
On August 22, guests will not simply meet the designers. They will encounter the histories, destinations, cultures, and ambitions that make each collection worth remembering.
