La Fondita in Amagansett has unveiled new daily specials along with its new fall schedule. Open Friday through Tuesday, La Fondita offers rotating specials each day.
On Mondays it’s Gordita for $14. Enjoy thick corn tortillas stuffed with your choice of meat or avocado topped with lettuce, queso fresco, and crema served with rice and refried beans. You can also find Huarache for $9. The crispy maseca boat is topped with your choice of meat or avocado also topped with lettuce, queso fresco, and crema served with rice and refried beans.
On Tuesdays find Fajitas Platillo ranging from $16 to $21 that come with a choice of chicken, shrimp, or carne asada, served with rice, refritos, salad, and flour tortillas.
On Friday it’s Birra de Res for $14. Enjoy chili braised beef, cilantro, and onions served with consomme and corn tortillas. Also find Carne Enchilada Platillo for $19. The chili rubbed pork steak is also served with rice, refritos, salad and corn tortillas.
On Saturday and Sunday, find the Birra de Res special for $14, as well as a Tamal choice of pollo en Salsa Verde, Puerco en Salsa Roja or Rajas for $6.
La Fondita, which means “little kitchen” in Spanish, offers tasty Mexican to go or to stay at their indoor counter or at their outdoor picnic tables.
