Douglas Elliman announced that Noble Black & Partners, the firm’s #1 large team in New York City by GCI (gross commission income), and #2 team nationwide by GCI and Volume, has officially expanded its reach into the Hamptons region with the addition of local experts Averitt Buttry and William Schumann. Headquartered in Douglas Elliman’s Sag Harbor office, the team will offer advisory and representation throughout the Hamptons — from Southampton to Montauk.

The expansion aims to provide boutique residential advisory services focused on clients’ long-term financial success and lifestyle aspirations.
Noble Black, Jamie Gagliano, and Glenn Davis founded Noble Black & Partners to deliver strategic advisory, sales, and new development services. The team plans to leverage Douglas Elliman’s extensive resources and its global partnership with Knight Frank Residential for its clients.

The expansion follows the team’s record-breaking sale of The Claxton House in Sag Harbor, co-listed with Elliman’s Erica Grossman for $14,950,000. The property, designed and owned by interior designer Bryan Graybill, went under contract in less than two weeks. Rima Mardoyan Smyth brought the buyer to the deal.

Born and raised in the Hamptons, William Schumann brings over a decade of real estate experience and extensive knowledge of the East End market. His background in environmental studies and deep local relationships make him a valuable asset to the team.
