The 2024 Pink Pearl Gala was held on Friday, April 12, at Sea Star Ballroom. The North Fork Breast Health Coalition honored three local businesswomen with Community Spirit Awards.
Dr. Michelle Iona of Healing Points Acupuncture & Wellness Center, Denise Zuhoski-Schlacter of Making Waves Hair Salon, and Charlene Bugdin of Blue Sage Day Spa were recognized for their commitment to serving and supporting the East End breast cancer community.
The North Fork Breast Health Coalition is led by Melanie McEvoy, president and gala chair. About 400 people attended the gala, which raised $141,000 for breast cancer patients and survivors.
