‘Open Spaces’ At The Watermill Center

On Saturday, May 31, from noon to 2 PM, the Watermill Center will host its all-ages community event ‘Open Spaces.’ Opening with a blessing and performance by Shinnecock artist Shane Weeks, the program will feature eight artist-led workshops, along with crafts, food trucks, and a scavenger hunt across the ten acres of wooded paths and gardens.

The community is invited to experience The Watermill Center’s campus as a site of inspiration and experimentation. There will also be performances and installations by Truth Colon, Alex Bard, Ross Wightman, and Damien Davis.

Artist workshops will be given by Andrea Cote, Scott Bluedorn, Beah Batakou, Jamie Diamond, Paigo Laino, and Ruth Childs, and food provided by Balo’s Food Truck, Wildflower Eats, Springs Brewery, Montauk General Store, Mister Softee, and BjornQorn.
