Boutique hotel The Roundtree, Amagansett will present a new restaurant series, hosting acclaimed chefs from Manhattan for a winter-long pop-up experience.
This is The Roundtree’s first-ever culinary series. Kicking off January 13, a rotating residency of renowned chefs and beverage experts take to the hamlet for full dining experiences, fireside discussions, in-room surprise and delights, private cooking classes, and more.
Dining experiences will take place at Rosie’s, adjacent to The Roundtree. Highlights include pop-ups from Chef Doron Wong’s trio of restaurants, Chef Akshaky Bhardwaj of Michelin-starred Junoon, and renowned Chef Maria Loi. The Roundtree will also be hosting an intimate Lunar New Year celebration where the owner’s family traditions and recipes will be shared.
On January 13 and 14, the dining experience will kick off with West Village Italian restaurants Osteria 57 and Alice, led by Executive Chef Riccardo Orfino.
Wayla, the popular Lower East Side Thai restaurant, will be there on January 20 and 21 with Chef Tom Naumsuwan.
On January 27 and 28, it’s Chef Maria Loi — the internationally known television personality, entrepreneur, author, and philanthropist — of Loi Estiatorio.
Nolita’s Bronson’s Burgers will join on February 3 and 4, known for its menu of burgers and milkshakes.
Jia, a Chinese restaurant in Port Washington, will be February 10 and 11, offering classic dim sum dishes by Executive Chef Kand Hu.
Michelin-starred Junoon will join February 16 through 19 with Chef Akshaky Bhardwaj’s Indian cuisine. The restaurant has earned a Michelin star every year since it opened in 2010.
Texas Chef Dominick Lee will open his first New York restaurant, Alligator Pear, this coming spring. The menu explores upscale Creole cuisine and will be conclude the series in Amagansett on February 24 and 25.
