Scent Of A Hamptons Holiday: New Candle Evokes Cozy Winter On The East End

Holiday candle by East Hampton Gardens

As the crisp air of autumn descends on the Hamptons, East Hampton Gardens has announced the release of its new “Holiday” scented candle, the second in the shop’s seasonal “Four Seasons” collection.

The limited-edition Holiday candle seeks to bottle the cozy aromas of winter on the East End, blending warm notes of bergamot, orange and lemon with the forest fresh scents of fir, pine and sage. Woody accords of cedarwood, sandalwood and musk round out the candle’s wintry perfume.

The new candle follows the launch of the brand’s spring-inspired “Bloom” candle earlier this year, which mixed lily of the valley and orange blossom notes with green accords and musk to conjure the feel of a morning walk through a Hamptons flower cutting garden after an April shower.

The Holiday candle retails for $85 for a 12 oz. glass jar and will be available for purchase on the East Hampton Gardens website. The limited run of Holiday and Bloom candles aims to bring each Hamptons season to life in scent form.
