Scott’s Protein Balls is launching its newest flavor, Cinnamon Bun, its second flavor made with all organic ingredients, and their proprietary protein powder blend, on October 1 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This month holds a special place in the hearts of the company’s founders. Their CEO and co-founder Lori Levine is a breast cancer survivor and the company donates a portion of sales all year round to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which helped fund some of the tests along her cancer journey.
Founded in 2020, Scott’s Protein Balls was created by co-founder and CFO Scott Levine for his wife Lori who after a battle with breast cancer was looking for a clean, low-sugar, healthy snack.
According to the company, cinnamon has many health benefits including helping support blood sugar balance and supporting better metabolic health, as well as being rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and beneficial for circulation and heart health.
