The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation presents its annual Spay-ghetti fundraiser. The benefit is to raise funds for the foundation’s Advo-Cat TNR (trap, neuter, release) program.
Each ticket purchased includes one gift certificate to Scotto’s in Hampton Bays for a meal which includes spaghetti and two meatballs (which are optional), a side salad, and bread. It also includes a cupcake from Cathy’s Cupcakes and two raffle tickets.
Those who purchase tickets will schedule a pick-up appointment at the shelter on March 5 or 6. During the appointment time, guests will have the opportunity to browse raffle items, which include Channing Daughters wine, waterpark tickets, Cowfish gift certificates, Molton Brown items, Pet DNA kits, and more. There will also be a live auction through Facebook this year.
Through the foundation’s Advo-Cat program, adult feral cats are trapped, neutered or spayed, and vaccinated before being returned to their colonies. Kittens are socialized in foster homes and later adopted.
