Southampton Arts Center Honors Founding Co-Chair   Simone Levinson At SummerFest

Southampton Arts Center held its annual gala, SummerFest this past weekend. With contributions still coming in, the event is expected to raise over $1 million dollars for the institution’s year-round programming.

The event awarded founding co-chair Simone Levinson with the 2023 Champion of the Arts Award, honoring her long commitment to the Southampton arts community. The event featured performances by Academy Award Winner Ariana De Bose  and Broadway star and Grammy nominee Jessica Vosk, with notable attendees including Ross Bleckner, Candace Bushnell, Fern Mallis, and Peter Thomas Roth.

The event was then followed by the second annual edition of SummerFest After Dark, which featured a surprise performance by Saucy Santana.

Attendees of SummerFest After Dark included Ivy Getty, Batsheva Haart, Julia Heart, Gaia Matisse, Aoki Lee Simmons, Ming Lee Simmons, and Andrew Warren.
