The Church in Sag Harbor presents the third annual Creativity Conference: a full-day program of lectures and exchanging ideas with a group of creative thinkers on Saturday, April 6, from 9 AM to 6 PM.
The event is a full-day gathering that explores creativity in the arts and sciences. It features six thought leaders, and this year, the program delves deeply into the life sciences.
Speakers include Mark Epstein, psychiatrist and author of “The Trauma of Everyday Life, et al.”; Rachel Herz, the world’s leading expert on the psychological science of scent; Heather Lynch, director of Stony Brook Collaborative for the Earth; Seth Ruffins, director of Optical Imaging Facility at the Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine; Scott Small, director of Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Columbia University; and Sarah Thornton, sociologist and author of “Seven Days in the Art World” and “Tits Up: What Sex Workers, Milk Bankers, Plastic Surgeons, Bra Designers, and Witches Tell Us About Breasts.”
Tickets are $95 for members and $115 for non-members. This includes all presentations, Q&A, breakfast, and reception with the speakers.
