On Saturday, June 15, The Neo-Political Cowgirls presented Andromeda’s Sisters with an early evening of theater and thought-provoking conversation at the LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton.
Abigail Disney, producer of the 2008 documentary “Pray the Devil Back to Hell,” Emmy Award-winning “The Armor of Light,” and “The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales,” joined Minerva Perez, Executive Director of OLA of Eastern Long Island, and Lucy Sexton, Executive Director of New Yorkers for Culture and Arts on the panel with New York Times best-selling author A.M. Homes moderating.
This year, Andromeda’s Sisters honored Gail Pellett, the Honorary Chairwoman and 2024 Andromeda’s Sisters Award Recipient. Gail is an award-winning writer, director, and producer of documentaries, articles, and reports. She is also a co-founder of Changehampton.
Funds raised help support The Neo-Political Cowgirls, which provides a wide range of creative, community-building, and empowerment initiatives for the East End community.
