The White Room Gallery in East Hampton presents “SPIN,” an exhibit opening on November 7 and running through December 28. A reception and holiday party for the show will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 5 to 7 PM.
“Spin has been in the lexicon of politics for about forty years and part of the art scene since the ‘90s but in 2025 it is our collective point of view on view with mercurial abstracts showcasing multiple layers evolving into sublime portrayals of ‘Processing the Process’ and ‘Thanks for the silence” and a spinning Charlie Brown who engages the simple element of joy, joined by a floppy disc creation of an astronaut in space which in some ways is the ultimate spin,” read a statement from the gallery.
“Our Spin exhibit is a celebration of energy and a defiance of the inert. Spin is also described as ‘a brief trip in a vehicle for pleasure.’ For the holiday season, let’s define that vehicle as The White Room Gallery.”
Artists include Pascal Guetta, Punk Me Tender, Taylor Smith, Artlord, Seek One, Brad Beyer, Gregory Goy, Jack Flo, SQRA, Joseph Kraham, Rock Therrien, and more.
