Almond in Bridgehampton presents the return of its “Artists & Writers” series, on Monday, October 3, at 7 PM featuring Sabra Moon Elliot.
Sabra Moon Elliot received a Bachelor of Science in film from New York University, and studied art history at Umbra Institute in Perugia, Italy. Growing up she explored different mediums of art such as painting and film and attended art classes at the National Academy of Design.
In 2020, she had her first solo exhibition titled “SPACE” at Tripoli Gallery Wainscott, and she was featured in the online “Dialogues” series with TURN Gallery in New York. Other recent exhibitions include The September Art Show at The Bridge Golf Club in Bridgehampton, where she exhibited alongside Kurt Gumaer and Mary Heilmann in a Tripoli Gallery container in 2019.
In 2018, she had a two-person exhibition with Mary Heilmann at Tripoli Gallery Southampton titled “WAVY.” Her work has been exhibited at the Tribeca Artists Underground in New York City and SK Designs in Louisville, Kentucky. She has also exhibited at Ille Arts in Amagansett, as well as the Fireplace Project, and Studio 11, both in East Hampton. The artist lives and works in Bridgehampton.
