Dria Murphy brought her wellness brand, by dria, back to Shou Sugi Ban House in Watermill for a second summer, gathering guests and premium members of the by dria community for a curated morning centered on movement, beauty, and connection. Attendees included Molly Sims, Kate Love, Sophie Elgort, Jennifer Fisher, Rebecca Minkoff, Elizabeth Kurpis, Talia Parkinson Jones, Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton, Michelle Grant, Sabrina Rudin, and Kelly Turlington Burns.

The morning began in the meditation hall with a mat Pilates class led by founder Matt of ETHĒA, the acclaimed Tribeca studio known for its precision-driven approach, built for resilience rather than burnout, a fitting entry point into a morning designed to feel restorative rather than depleting.

Guests then moved to the solarium deck, where Shou Sugi Ban House Executive Chef Patrick O’Grady served signature breakfast bites alongside Nekohama matcha and coffee. WaterOuai! kept guests hydrated with microplastic-free water, Each & Every, the brand known for its clean, non-toxic approach to fragrance, scented the space with candles and offered its deodorants and body wash to sample, and Emmy-nominated hair designer Sarah Hindsgaul, known for her work on “Stranger Things,” set up a masking bar dedicated to summer hair care.

Every detail was chosen by Murphy, down to the gift bags waiting on each mat, stocked with her go-to summer wellness picks.

“Connecting a community of like-minded women who want to take a moment of self-care,” said Murphy in her opening remarks.

This marks the second annual by dria wellness morning at Shou Sugi Ban House. The next by dria wellness morning will take place on August 1, once again at Shou Sugi Ban House, with new brand partners and programming to be announced.

The by dria membership offers hand-selected product recommendations, wellness experiences, and lifestyle practices designed to help members discover what’s genuinely worth their time, energy, and investment. Saturday’s wellness morning marked one of the members-only in-person events included with premium access. More details can be found on the by dria wellness club.
