The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife across Long Island’s East End, has announced the return of its highly anticipated annual Get Wild! Gala. The event will be held on Saturday, July 25, from 5:30 to 8 PM at Marders in Bridgehampton, and will honor Charles (“Charlie”) and Kathleen Marder for their longstanding commitment to the community and the natural beauty of the East End.
This year’s celebration marks the organization’s 26th anniversary, honoring more than two decades of compassionate care and environmental stewardship. The evening will reflect on the many animals that have passed through the Center’s doors while looking ahead to the next chapter of its vital mission.
Guests will enjoy a lively outdoor setting featuring food trucks, a gelato cart, live entertainment from DJ Mike of East End Entertainment and the opportunity to meet the Center’s Education Raptors at a dedicated photo booth experience. Families are warmly welcomed, with a special “Fox Den” designed for children 12 and under, offering interactive activities, crafts, and curated goodie bags.
The evening will also include a silent auction, launching in mid-July, with a selection of unique items and experiences benefiting the Center’s ongoing rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
