Co-owners of Wölffer Estate, Joey Wölffer and Marc Wölffer will introduce a new dining concept to Amagansett this season. An homage to their father and the estate’s founder, Christian’s by Wölffer Estate features a selection of family-friendly, locally sourced seasonal fare ideally paired with a comprehensive selection of Wölffer’s award-winning wines.
An international bon vivant, Christian Wölffer shared a passion for life and believed in creating an inclusive and celebratory atmosphere. Guided by these values, the restaurant’s relaunch is a celebration of life that embodies the warmth, vivaciousness, and hospitality of its namesake.
Originally opened in 2017, Wölffer Kitchen brought the brand’s winery roots to Amagansett Square as the first winery-owned restaurant on the East End, extending Wölffer’s signature style and bohemian spirit to the Hamptons culinary scene. Now as Christian’s, guests can experience the intersectionality of the Wölffer lifestyle with the restaurant’s food, wine, service and ambiance evoking the legendary Christian Wölffer.
The entirety of the new menu is a play on the sea, vineyards, and terroir of the East End, and features produce from Long Island farms, fresh North Atlantic fish and oysters, and roasted meats from the kitchen’s wood-burning oven. New signature dishes include enhanced comfort foods such as the Bouillabaisse and Chicken Paillard, inspired by Wölffer’s Summer in a Bottle Côtes de Provence, “Christian’s Potato Salad” a nod to the Sagaponack potato farm where Wölffer Estate Vineyard first began, and the Herb-crusted Montauk tuna, and Grilled Wagyu Sirloin with green peppercorns.
The redesigned indoor space is outfitted in a deeper color scheme, candid family polaroid’s and old photos from the vineyard, as well as a newly built outdoor patio.
In addition to dinner, Christian’s will also offer Vinyl Brunch on Saturday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM, a new live DJ concept accompanied by authentic vinyl records.
