In honor of Women’s History Month, Ophelia Lounge in New York City will offer a Hers cocktail with tiki rum, creme de fraise, coconut cream, Nardini Amaro, pineapple, and raspberries, alongside a vanilla cake with white Earl Grey icing and blackberry jam.
Ophelia will donate 10 percent of the proceeds of both the cocktail and dessert to the Mayshad Foundation, an organization that supports and funds women micro-entrepreneurs.
Here, we share a recipe for the Hers cocktail created by Bar Director Amir Babayoff at Ophelia.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Cardinal Spirits Tiki Rum
- 0.5 oz Pineapple Juice
- 0.25 oz Nardini Amaro
- 1oz Coconut Syrup
- 0.75 oz Merlet Crème de Fraise
- 2 Raspberries
- Chocolate Nibs
Garnish
- Dried Rose Bud
- Strawberry Dust
Directions
- In a shaker, muddle two raspberries with simple syrup and amaro.
- Add ice and the rest of the ingredients.
- Shake well and double strain into a coup glass.
- Sprinkle strawberry dust on top and place a few chocolate nibs on the side by the rim.
- Use tongs to place the rose buds in the center of the glass.
