On Monday afternoon, the East Hampton Library announced that, beginning Tuesday at 9 AM, 100 sets of one at-home rapid COVID-19 Test Kit and one KN95 Mask would be available free on a first-come first-served basis. Word traveled fast, and the 100 were “sold out” in 15 minutes.
According to New York State Assemblyman Fred Thiele, Governor Kathy Hochul donated 1,000 masks and kits to each NY State Legislative Office, which were distributed at local libraries.
