Dude’s Eye View and Girls’ Gaze film workshops will be held at East Hampton High School. The workshops include eight weeks of once-a-week gathering after school to be in impactful discussion and exciting discovery exercises that culminate in a short film for each participant.
The Neo-Political Cowgirls in partnership with Hamptons Film offer this program free of charge to high schoolers so to build self-expressive confidence, content for college applications (or just for a new challenge), and to exercise ideas through photography, film, editing, and music.
The program ends with a celebratory public screening of student films and upon full completion, participants accrue 20 community service hours towards their graduation requirement.
No experience is necessary. Students may attend whichever workshop they’ll feel most comfortable in. Girls’ Gaze will begin on March 14. Dude’s Eye View will begin on March 15.
To sign up, register with Ms. Jahoda or Mr. Pederson at EHHS or by emailing info@npcowgirls.org.
