On Saturday, August 12, the East Hampton Library held its 19th Annual Authors Night fundraiser at Herrick Park in East Hampton Village.
A popular and celebrity-studded event, Authors Night featured 100 authors across all genres. The “Premier Literary Event of the Hamptons,” Authors Night has grown over its history to become one of the most successful celebrations of books and authors in America, and one of the largest library-author events of its kind in the country.
Participating authors included Jim Acosta, Tessa Bailey, Geoffrey Berman, Bill Boggs, Robert A. Caro, Misty Copeland, Lauren Graham, Maggie Haberman, Kristy Woodson Harvey, A.M. Homes, Susan Isaacs, Jean Hanff Korelitz, Steve Madden, David Netto, Paulina Poriskova, Ryan Serhant, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Linda Villarosa, Jann Wenner, Chris Whipple, and Michael Wolff.
“The funds raised at Authors Night enable the East Hampton Library to provide our diverse community with essential programming and services throughout the year—all free of charge,” said Dennis Fabiszak, Executive Director of the East Hampton Library.
Authors Night proceeds benefit the East Hampton Library, a not-for-profit organization providing free library services to the East Hampton community since 1897.
