
The Hampton Ballet Theatre School presents its sixteenth annual production of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s beloved “Nutcracker.”
The ballet is choreographed by HBTS’s director, Sara Jo Strickland. The performance features costumes designed and hand-sewn by Yuka Silvera, Sara Jo Strickland, and Kate McManus. Lighting design is by Sebastian Paczynski. HBTS’s Pro Students Major Bovio, Leila Genender, Summer Lillie, Olivia Quinn, Shoshana Sobey, Catherine Porter, Lauren Rosario, Twyla Tracy, and Talula Tracy will all dance featured roles with special guest artists Jacob Taylor as Dew Drop Prince and Harlequin, Malik Berry as Snow King and Marzipan, James Stevko as Cavalier and Nick Peregrino as the Arabian Prince and Marzipan.
Hampton Ballet Theatre School’s “Nutcracker” will enchant those of all ages. The
students of HBTS transport the audience to a land where angels, snowflakes, and flowers dance while Clara saves the Nutcracker Prince from the evil Mouse King. The “Nutcracker” conjures holiday cheer for all while celebrating in the Land of Sweets.
The performances will be staged on Friday, December 12, at 7 PM, Saturday, December 13, at 7 PM, and Sunday, December 14, at 12 PM and 5 PM at Guild Hall in East Hampton. Advance ticket prices range from $40 to $55, and day-of-performance ticket prices range
from $45 to $60. Premium and orchestra seating is available at rates for both children (under 12 years of age) and adults. Group rates for all performances are available for groups of 10 or more.
