Impulsive Movement with Emily Allen & Leah Hennessey
Stimulate your creative side and unlock spontaneity through text and movement! During this 4-hour workshop, instructors Emily Allan and Leah Hennessey will guide participants through a series of exercises and activities designed to explore the limits of physical expression, conveying reaction and emotion of written text through impulsive movement. Group discussions throughout the workshop will investigate what it truly means to unlock impulsive creativity, while also providing an opportunity for thought and reflection.
This workshop is open to those of all experience levels and abilities, especially performers, writers, artists, and anyone willing to explore physical expression!
Participants are strongly encouraged to memorize a short monologue or paragraph to work from.
