Landmarks And Legends: East Hampton Unveiled With David Cataletto
The 2026 Tom Twomey Series kicks off Friday, January 30th with “Landmarks and Legends: East Hampton Unveiled.” This engaging lecture by David Cataletto uncovers the rich history behind East Hampton’s place names, exploring how Native American, African, and European influences shaped the Town’s landmarks, places and roads. An East Hampton native, Cataletto teaches History and English at East Hampton Middle School, serves as an East Hampton Town Trustee, and is actively involved in historic and environmental preservation throughout the community.
This year’s Tom Twomey Series is presented as a partnership between the East Hampton Library and the East Hampton Historical Society.
