Hamptons Tech Week returned this summer from June 27 to 29, with a mission to bring the world of technology to the Hamptons. This event educated attendees on how various aspects of technology are impacting a variety of industries, while providing a platform for networking and learning among industry professionals.
The conference kicked off on Tuesday, June 27, at CURIO Project Hamptons, with a day dedicated to celebrating and supporting female founders, in collaboration with Fylí, a private membership mastermind community that provides education, resources, and mentorship to early-stage female founders, alongside technology partner Logictry.
“Women’s day allowed for funders and founders to come together around the future of technology and the tools that help us build a better world,” said Chelsea Toler, co-founder of Logictry and Nova Impact.
The day commenced with a grounding meditation led by wellness expert and author, Krista Nerestant. This was followed by an interactive opening keynote delivered by Jen Halweil, Emmy nominated director and sustainable futurist, who shared her insights on building a sustainable future through technology. Additional afternoon speakers included Emily Burnett, founder and CEO of MetaBurnett who discussed Web3 in fashion and Kirsten Jordan, real estate broker and the first female cast member of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York” on the future of real estate and leveraging technology.
Fylí CEO Jaclynn Brennan conducted a fireside chat where she interviewed Molly Heffernan, director of marketing and digital at the Tory Burch Foundation.
One of the event’s highlights included The Spirit of Entrepreneurship Panel which featured Lara Eurdolian King, on-air host and founder of Pretty Connected, Katie Sol, founder of Mystical Living and designer of Love Lillett, Wanchen Kaiser, co-founder and CMO of Glamcor Official, and Angel Suttle, founder and CEO of Black Girls With Teslas.
The event concluded with a networking happy hour for female founders and funders.
