HamptonsFilm’s “Now Showing” series continues with Greenwich Entertainment’s “Harry Chapin: When In Doubt, Do Something,” directed by documentarian Rick Korn.
Chapin was an artist and activist who dedicated himself to others. He was an award-winning songwriter responsible for hits like “Cats in the Cradle” and “Taxi” and defined his life through humanitarian work and storytelling. In this moving portrait, Korn chronicles the Long Island icon’s extraordinary journey — from his rise to fame to his tragic death.
Through intimate interviews with famous friends — Billy Joel, Pete Seeger, Pat Benatar, Bruce Springsteen — along with archival footage, the film celebrates his legacy.
The film can be purchased and watched privately in the HamptonsFilm Virtual Screening Room via HamptonsFilm Now Showing, and will be available January 15 to 21.
