Southampton Art Center’s Storefront Art Project Continues

Southampton Art Center’s Storefront Art Project continues with artist and photographer Kerry Sharkey Miller, displaying “Wild Things” at the former home of J. Crew at 84B Main Street in Southampton.

“This dynamic photo-based installation includes an experimental process with works on oxidized and hand-polished aluminum, rice paper, and handmade substrates. Subject matter includes natural elements from the local environment,” read the SAC’s Instagram page.

The show is the latest in a series of “wind-stallations.” The first was Alice Hope’s “Priceless.”

SAC and the Village of Southampton are working with landlords with vacant shops, giving the opportunity to animate their windows with dynamic art installations, until the shop is once again occupied.
