
On Sunday, November 2, guests joined James Lane Post for a Signature WAVE Wellness Class in Southampton led by Lisa Zaloga, followed by a discussion with wellness founders Stephanie Esposito and Lisa Zaloga of WAVE Wellness, Amanda Duckstein of Shadowbox Pilates, and Andrea Fornarola of Elements Fitness Studio, moderated by wellness advocate and digital media entrepreneur Vanessa Steil.

Attendees enjoyed a signature Wave Length class, Wave’s first-ever mat class dedicated entirely to recovery. This transformative group session is designed to help you recharge, repair, and feel your best. Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully sequenced series of full-body stretches, performed on Wave’s cutting-edge PEMF Infrared mats, each packed with advanced wellness technology.

The class was designed to restore muscle and speed up recovery, ease tension and prevent injury, improve circulation and reboot cellular function, and calm the nervous system while balancing brain waves.

WAVE Wellness, based in Sag Harbor and Southampton Village, offers a range of fitness and wellness services, complemented by a strong sense of community. Co-founders Stephanie Esposito and Lisa Zaloga have created a unique space where wellness goes beyond traditional treatments, combining physical and emotional care with social connection.

Vanessa Steil is a digital media entrepreneur, thyroid cancer survivor, and former millennial caregiver. Following her 2013 diagnosis, she launched Living in Steil (pronounced “style”), a successful lifestyle blog, and developed a thriving community on Instagram. Her story has been featured in prominent media outlets and the book “Tough: Women Who Survived Cancer.”

Amanda Duckstein, the founder of ShadowBox Pilates, has been teaching fully comprehensive Pilates for over 14 years across various locations, including Baltimore, Manhattan, Nashville, Westchester, and the Hamptons. In 2024, she opened a studio in Water Mill.

Andrea Fornarola is the founder of Elements Fitness Studio in Sag Harbor and on the Upper East Side. In addition to being a fitness guru, she is a professional dancer, musical theatre performer, and actor who has been dancing and creating movement patterns since her early childhood.
