In keeping with its tradition of lively, community-centered, and affordable programming, the Wainscott-based nonprofit Local TV, Inc. is launching the LTV Fitness Studio.
The program includes free live-studio-audience fitness classes and premium paid classes with some of the South Fork’s most sought-after instructors in the spacious, flexible Studio 3.
“This is where movement meets mission, and every class becomes part of something bigger. Our new fitness experience lives on stage, on screen, and in our community,” said LTV Producer Antoinette Lanza. “Let’s move, connect, and grow together.”

Lanza developed the idea for the fitness program based on her prior collaborations with Lois Nesbitt, a highly regarded Master Yogi instructor with over 30 years of experience and practice. After filming several episodes of Nesbitt’s public access show, “Yoga Mind & Body,” Lanza’s idea grew to include Erica Velasquez, a Springs-based sound healer, meditation guide, and yoga and pilates teacher known for her uplifting style; Kelly Sheppard, a Sag Harbor-based Pilates teacher with 20-plus years’ experience, known for her deep knowledge and training; and Kiki Hajek, a Southampton-based creator of an invigorating, holistic health program called “Align Oneness” and an instructor at Wave Wellness and Karma Collective.

Classes with Nesbitt and Velasquez begin January 24, while classes with Sheppard and Hajek start on February 16. Each of these Saturday classes costs $25. A five-class pack costs $100.
Additionally, on Friday mornings at 9 AM beginning February 6, a rotating schedule of teachers will offer a free class filmed for broadcast on LTV’s public access platforms, Channel 20 and YouTube, allowing guests to be part of a live studio audience experience.
“Free classes are filmed as public-access programming, while paid programs are private, in-person experiences that help sustain the program and keep free classes available to the community,” Lanza explained.
