From the iconic Memory Motel in Montauk comes the launch of “Memory Memo,” a local video podcast. Launched on YouTube and Spotify, the series releases new episodes every Wednesday through Columbus Day, with Season 1: Summer 2025 capturing the energy, characters, and stories that define life on the East End. Episodes are distributed weekly via Memory Motel’s newsletter, reaching over 80,000 subscribers.
Each season/summer of “Memory Memo” will create a time capsule of Hamptons life, spotlighting the creative journeys and personal summer stories of today’s artists and cultural personalities. Set inside Montauk’s legendary landmark, now operating as a popular late-night dive club, the Memory Motel offers a unique backdrop for unfiltered, engaging conversations about summer, culture, and creativity — famously name-dropped by The Rolling Stones song “Memory Motel” and frequented by Carly Simon and Andy Warhol in the 1970’s — Memory Memo blends historic energy with the laid-back spirit of modern Montauk.
At the heart of Memory Memo are Brian Kenny, owner of the Memory Motel, and Morgan Siegal, the bar’s longtime manager, a Montauk native and owner of local motel Seascape. Together, they co-host the series, leading casual, unfiltered conversations that dive into Montauk’s evolving creative scene and the personal stories of their eclectic guests. Visuals and behind-the-scenes moments are captured by renowned Hamptons photographer and artist James Katsipis, adding a distinct local flavor to the production.

Season 1: Summer 2025 guests feature a rotating mix of well-known names and local personalities, including appearances by Ja Rule, Sasha and Oli Benz, Bobby Murray, Jeremy Piven, Goldfish, Tommy Smokes, and Caleb Moore, with new guests continuing to join.
