RGNY Vineyard will merge the beauty of harvest season with the rich cultural heritage of Día de los Muertos during an extraordinary evening on Saturday, November 2, from 7 PM to 11 PM.
Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a deeply rooted Mexican tradition celebrated on November 1 and 2. It is a time for families to honor and remember their deceased loved ones. The holiday is marked by vibrant altars (ofrendas), colorful decorations, marigold flowers, sugar skulls, and food and drink offerings to welcome the spirits back to the world of the living.
The event will honor the bountiful harvest, and also celebrate the holiday that unites the living and the dead in a joyous remembrance of life.
House of Yes returns with mesmerizing performances, while DJ Phil from Make Some Noise provides the soundtrack for an unforgettable night. Come dressed in cocktail or themed attire, with costumes highly encouraged. Let the vibrant colors and imagery of Día de los Muertos inspire your outfit.
The evening’s culinary journey will be led by Chef Cheo Avila, who will delight taste buds with a menu inspired by the flavors of Mexico, perfectly paired with RGNY’s finest wines. Try the limited Scielo Malbec Día de los Muertos Edition, which will be available for pickup at the event. To elevate the evening further, RGNY will offer mezcal by Agua Mágica, a spirit that embodies the soul of Mexico.
Guests are invited to bring a 4 x 6 image of a loved one who has passed to place on the ofrenda, a traditional altar where guests can honor their memory together.
