Southampton Arts Center’s Storefront Art Project Expands

Southampton Arts Center’s Storefront Art Project — which provides willing landlords with vacant shops the opportunity to animate their windows with dynamic art installations — has expanded to include work by artist Miles Partington. The artist’s new installation “Dublin Zoo” is on view at 46 Jobs Lane.

Crafted from cardboard, common objects, and spray paint, the Partington repurposes a material that became abundant during the Covid-19 pandemic. The exhibit draws attention to the humor, beauty, and complexity within the animal kingdom.

Artists Bastienne Schmidt and Jeremy Dennis are scheduled exhibit in new storefronts later this month.
