The installation “Objects And Things” will open at Stella Flame Gallery in Bridgehampton with a reception on Saturday, March 23, from 5 to 7 PM. The show brings together Iris Dankner’s passion for design and art with small and large works consisting of monochromatic graphic optics, textures, and forms that can be assembled, formed into an ever-changing grid, or stacked, thereby drawing every habitat into the creative process.
The evening will also feature the work of celebrated fine jewelry designer GiGi Ferranti.
Dankner is an artist, interior designer, philanthropist, and breast cancer survivor. She founded Holiday House, a celebrated show house that brings together top interior designers and lifestyle brands to raise essential funds for breast cancer research, prevention, and cure in the Hamptons, Palm Beach, Manhattan, and London. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and the author of “Holiday House: Ten Years Of Decorating For A Cure.” During her stint at Federated Department Stores, Iris penned the Lord & Taylor signature that graced their iconic shopping bags.
GiGi Ferranti’s fine jewelry collection combines the symmetry of geometric lines and architectural influences, all interpreted with her finely tuned, delicate, yet powerful, feminine aesthetic. Her fine jewelry comprises the highest quality ethically sourced diamonds and colored gemstones. She has earned numerous prestigious industry awards, including the InStore Magazine Design Award, AGTA/WJA GemDiva Award, and MJSA Award for Professional Design Excellence.
“Objects And Things” will be on view through Monday, April 15. GiGi Ferranti’s trunk show runs Saturday and Sunday, March 23 to 24, from 11 AM to 5 PM.
A portion of the proceeds from all sales during the artist’s reception will benefit BCRF, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
