The Women’s Art Center of the Hamptons will host its first fundraiser, held on Saturday, July 15, from 6 to 9 PM.
The Women in the Arts Summer Party features signature cocktails, small bites, music, and an art auction. The event will be held at a private residence in Sag Harbor.
The party is a celebration of women in the arts and will be an annual event. This year’s fete includes food by Canard, Inc. with a special guest appearance by Michelin star chef Cali Faulkner who trained and worked in New York and Paris.
Music will be courtesy of Royal KhaoZ who will keep guests dancing with lively reggae. The evening also includes an art auction featuring works by such art luminaries as Betty Parsons, Romare Bearden, André Kertész, Tamiko Kawata, Sue Lawty, Larry Rivers, Bert Stern, and Jack Youngerman.
Women’s Art Center of the Hamptons is a non-profit organization established in 2022 to provide a much-needed platform to elevate and support women artists within the framework of engagement and accessibility to the entire community. In the first few months since its founding, WACH has already presented an art exhibition, led an exciting five-day cultural tour in London, hosted an author’s talk and has several new programs in the works. WACH offers the public an introduction to, or a deeper understanding of, the arts and seeks to serve as a community resource with accessibility for everyone.
