‘Tony And The Lady’ Comes To The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center will debut the highly-anticipated performance of Tony and the Lady, a touching musical tribute to the magical friendship of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga on September 9.

Fronted by Jamesport native Larry Liso and Southampton native Amanda Lee, the duo plans for a night of witty banter and enchanting vocals that will breathe new life into the legendary singers’ beloved ballads and standards.

“We are so excited for Tony and the Lady to come to the WHBPAC,” said Julienne Penza-Boone, WHBPAC Executive Director, “and their tribute to the music of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga is going to stun audiences with its heartwarming authenticity.”

“I first met Tony Bennett on the streets of New York 25 years ago right near where he lived by Central Park,” said Larry Siso. “Tony was so approachable. We walked five blocks together. He marveled about New York, the city that never sleeps, the city he loved to live in with all his heart.”

Amanda Lee takes on the role of Lady Gaga in “Tony and The Lady.”

“What people don’t know about Gaga is what a compassionate soul she is,” said Lee. When she recorded her last record with Tony, he was already being ravaged by Alzheimer’s. She was in tears everyday but the show must go on. It’s even more incredible that Tony was able to do one last concert at Radio City Music Hall at 95. We will miss him terribly.”
