Veterinarians International’s Healthy Steps For Healthy Pets

Veterinarians International presents the second annual Healthy Steps for Healthy Pets on Saturday, September 25, in East Hampton. The walk, which can be done in person or on your own, is held to help animals get the veterinary care they need around the globe.

Following the walk there will be a Chandon Reception for the Animals at The Baker House 1650 starting at 3:30 PM, hosted by Antonella Bertello, Christine Evangelista, and Jennifer Frommer. Special guest National Geographic Explorer, Creative Conservationist VI Ambassador Asher Jay will join for the event. Tickets are $200.

Funds raised will help provide injured baby elephants and surrounding wildlife with a portable x-ray machine and veterinary aid to pets in need.

There will be a live auction by Ryan Willard that includes two tickets to a live filming of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen and a photoshoot with you and your pet by fashion photographer Steven Klein.

The goal is to raise $100,000 from the walk and event. For more information about the walk and the event, visit vetsinternational.org.
