Vin Sur Vingt Wine Bar has been a mainstay for French wine lovers in New York City and Washington D.C. for over a decade and is now making its way to the East End.
Led by founder Sebastien Auvet — who aims to focus on simplicity, authenticity, and value — the new Sag Harbor bistro will feature an extensive list of continuously rotating collection of 250 wines – with over 40 different wines by the glass – coupled with a French bistro menu. In addition, Auvet has partnered with a mixologist who will create VSV’s first-ever French-inspired craft cocktail menu.
The regularly rotating wine menu is selected from regions like Bordeaux, the Loire Valley, Alsace, Languedoc, Bourgogne, and even Corsica. The French bistro menu, inspired by Auvet’s grandmother, is designed to engender the atmosphere of an intimate, authentic Bistro-a-Vin in France.
The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner. A special perk for the night owls — if you stay past 10 PM, enjoy VSV’s late night happy hour featuring 25 percent off any bottle of wine until closing.
